Why drafting is the part that matters
The stamp is a government charge. The notarial seal is a certification of execution. Neither of them makes the document say what you meant. That is the drafting — and it is the only part of the transaction where skill changes the outcome.
Most documents that fail do not fail on the stamp. They fail because a fact was stated too loosely for an officer to act on it, because a property was described in a way that does not match the revenue record, because a payment schedule had no consequence attached to a default, or because the person swearing the affidavit had no personal knowledge of what they were swearing to.
Drafted in Gujarati — properly
A great deal of documentation in Vadodara is drafted in English and then explained to the signatory in Gujarati. That is backwards. If the parties read Gujarati, the document should be in Gujarati, drafted in Gujarati rather than translated out of an English template — because legal Gujarati has its own settled vocabulary, and a literal translation of an English clause frequently means something looser, or something else entirely.
We draft સોગંદનામું, ભાડા કરાર, બાનાખત, વેચાણ દસ્તાવેજ, પેઢીનામું supporting affidavits, વસિયતનામું, મુખત્યારનામું, હક્કમાફી, વહેંચણી દસ્તાવેજ, ભાગીદારી કરાર and ના વાંધા પ્રમાણપત્ર in Gujarati as a matter of course. English and Hindi equally.
Section 8(1)(h) of the Notaries Act, 1952 empowers a Notary to translate, and verify the translation of, any document from one language into another. For visa files, foreign university admissions, overseas employment and court filings, a certified Gujarati-to-English translation of a birth certificate, school leaving certificate, marriage certificate or property document is done here rather than sent out.

How the work runs
- You describe the situation, not the document
Most people arrive asking for a document by name because that is what someone told them to get. Often it is the wrong one. Tell us what you are trying to achieve and we will identify what is actually needed.
- We tell you the stamp and the route
What duty applies, whether notarisation is enough, and whether the Sub-Registrar has to be involved — before anything is drafted.
- We draft, and you read it
In Gujarati or English, whichever you actually read. Changes are expected at this stage, not after signing.
- Stamp, execute, notarise
All at the same counter, in one visit.
